Hello,

I had a few questions to ask before I waste my time doing all the wrong things at the gym...

Right now I'm 5' 9" and 130 lbs, but I have my body fat % is pretty high.. probably from all that soda and junk food, does that mean once I start hitting the gym I should do cardio to get rid of this fat or avoid it since my weight is already low?

Also, could someone point me to a good routine link on the forums here? i saw the 5x5 one but i found it a little confusing, and i'm not sure if its suited for someone just starting out.

And sorry to be annoying, but i really need help with a sample diet plan... like an example of foods i can eat throughout the day... cause I find it really hard to eat 6 times a day and to intake a lot of calories

I've worked out in the past and have failed many times due to lack of knowledge and just wasting my times doing things wrong, so i just wanna get it right this time. thanks

Don't worry about your weight. I'd say go for it.

Go to the Training Vault sticky and look up Rippetoe's 3x5 for beginners.

Anything and everything natural. Think about it, what is processed and what is not? Are sodas natural? Are peanuts natural? Are eggs natural?
