New Karma Hit Feature

Wow! What's this? You can specify what percentage of your power to give all the way upto 110%.

Does anyone know whether there's any cost for going the extra 10%?

A setting in options would be handy. Two defaults: one for red and one for green.

I don't get this feature at all, like what's the purpose? Why would anyone want to hit for less than max in either green or red? It would make sense if at 50% I could give out twice as many hits, at 25% 4x, etc.. or something like that.

Unless of course, this is all part of upcomming crap that we don't know about yet.

when you are packing a 900+ hit punch, maybe you don't want to overwhelm some noob and triple up his k

At the moment it seems to be nothing more than extra hassle to have to drop down the menu to select 110%. I can't see ever wanting to give green for other than 110% and since I so rarely give red it'd be silly for me to do that at less then full whack too. Maybe if someone had very little K and I didn't want to take it all away from them. Useful for a mod, maybe, but not for us little folk.

you're using up a hit anyways, why not use it to the fullest of it's potential?

It doesn't seem to. At least it doesn't affect the count of remaining hits. It might affect recharge time, that'd be amusing.

It would be cool if there was a way to make a something like a mailing list with karma. So if you wanted to hit people back you could copy and paste their names onto it and hit them all in one shot.
