New here, Will need help shortly!

Let me start off by saying that I am 8 1/2 months pregnant. Before I got pregnant(on my honeymoon by accident), I was almost to my ideal weight. I was about 135lbs with a good amount of muscle...not sure of bf %. I am (or should I say was) a Pro Wrestler. I want to get back in the game soon after I have the baby. Now I have some real body issues to deal with. I know that the stretch marks won't go away, but I do want to look even better than where I was before this pregnancy. I will need lots of help and support!

I have used clen in the past with good results. I was going to start a cycle of var before I found out that I was pregnant, which I would still like to do in the future. I just want to look good again...I feel like i've lost my body.

I was wondering if anyone else here has had kids and got into better shape afterwards? How soon after you had the baby were you able to get back to your pre baby figure?

My son is Due in the beginning of May, so I will keep you posted on when I am ready to start. Thanks in advance for all of your help! :qt:

First of all CONGRADULATIONS!!!!

It depends on a lot of factors. I have never used clen or var before so I couldn't tell you anything about them.

It also depends on how the labor goes, breast feeding or not to. Your hormones can play funny games on you. Just speaking from my own experience....

I started watching my diet right after (which really I should of been the whole way through) so I had a lot to lose. But I didn't start exercising until 4 months after, timing and baby didn't want to cooperate with my schedule LOL.

Anyways, it didn't take too long after that, stomach/hips being the only real issue.

But everyone is different, my sister was able to go back to her figure within 8 months so again it depends on a lot of factors.

Congrats! Nothing like having a little one! :)

Several things .....

1) Take it slow. Your body is/has gone through more than you can imagine. The whole "growing a child" thing is harder on the body than you know. Your hormones are going to be completely out of whack for months, possibly years.

2) If you breastfeed, you are going to have to watch what you eat and what you do. Your diet must remain balanced or your milk supply will be compromised. Not to mention the baby's health.

3) If you deliver vaginally, there is a waiting period of about 6 weeks before you can resume regular workout intensity. C-Section I think it is 8 weeks. This is not a ploy to keep you fat and miserable. Your body needs this time to recuperate. Even if you feel great, your body IS HEALING. Let it. You can still go for walks, do some mild yoga. Don't feel like you have to jump on the treadmill 12 hours after giving birth.

4) Sleep. Sleep should take priority over all over activities in the beginning. You have no idea what sleep deprivation is until you have a newborn. NO IDEA. Do whatever it takes to get through the first 6 weeks - that is the worst time. Once you get through 6 weeks, it starts to normalize. SLEEP. Don't do dishes, don't vacuum, don't read. SLEEP. SLEEP. SLEEP. And do not feel guilty about it. DO NOT.

5) Ask for help. I do NOT delegate well. You MUST learn to ask for help if you need it. And trust me - you need it.

6) I know the desire to get "back to normal" is intense - trust me, I know. But remember, you only get THIS ONE CHANCE to watch your child grow up. You only get THIS ONE TIME to be with him/her as s/he grows and develops. You have the rest of your life to "get back to normal". There is nothing that beats time with your baby.

Feel free to PM me, or post here if you need/want to talk .... I love talking babies. :)

This might be a stupid question but I LOVE these threads because I want to become pregnant within the next year or so....

Some do, some don't. Breastfeeding CAN help burn more calories - if my memory serves me right, it burns up to 500 calories a day to make milk. BUT, a breastfeeding mom needs 300 EXTRA calories a day to make a sufficient amount of milk.

AND, a breastfeeding mom needs a to make sure she is NOT cutting calories OR skimping on nutrients - no cutting out dairy, fats, carbs. You need all that to make GOOD HEALTHY milk for the baby.

Thanks for all of your quick responses!

I am going to formula feed....I would like both myself and my husband to be able to feed and bond with the baby. This is my first child so I really have no idea about weight loss with breastfeeding vs. not breastfeeding.

I am already on a pretty clean diet for a pregnant woman (if I may say so myself :) ). I plan on cleaning it up a bit more pretty much right after the baby is born. I know I have to take it easy for a while before I start working out, but I am really anxious. Right now, it just seems like the last couple of weeks have gone slower and slower.

LOL. I feel your anxiety. Trust me, enjoy it now because you will have lots to enjoy after.

Whatever you do, do not be tempted to try on your prepregnancy clothes when you get home. Do not try them on even after a month, and remember your stomach will return to a somewhat semi normal state LOL.

I have 4 kids and love talking babies to so any questions we will be here.

I am excited for you!

Congrats! How exciting! I'm sure the last few weeks are the worst but I can imagine they are also your last few weeks of full night sleep for the next few yrs!

Lots of great info here so we can watch Jr grow and you shrink in the coming months!

As for formula feeding - don't rule out BFing if you want help with feedings. You can pump milk and baby can bottlefeed easily. I did it for about 9 months, easily. :)

LOL. I'm not sure I like the way "semi normal" sounds. But I guess I'll have to live with it.

We picked out a name....David (after his Daddy)

Some women are blessed and you wouldn't even know they had children, some are not. But either way, small price to pay for creating a life.

Daisy has some wonderful advice, I did the same.

David is a great name.

Hi! I've been reading on this board and saw your post. I can relate. I am not pregnant but had 3 children in 31/2 years. My oldest now is 7 and my baby is 3 I breast feed all three children and the weight absolutly comes off quicker but you absolutley have to watch how and what you eat and ingest. That would mean no clen. I would say breast feeding is easier no sterilization of bottles no preparation of formula and I loved the post where you can pump and husband can feed. I know of new moms who mixed up both breast feeding and bottle feeding. I just wanted to let you know if you have questions feel free to get in touch.
