New here.. First cycle thoughts...

Hey, Ive been interested in starting my first cycle.. I have been reading up now for a few months and trying to understand it all.. but please dont rip me a new one, I am trying my best.. thanks..

I am 22 I have been working out since 16 on and off.. but consistently for the last 3 years... eat atleast 6 times a day high protien meals... around 30 grams a meal.. I am 6'4"... around 215 and about 13% body fat... I am trying to do as much research as possible.. I think I am ready to try this out.. what do you guys think of this?

Weeks 1-10:
500mg testosterone per week
1 quarter tablet of Fincar per day (1.25mg)
1 quarter tablet of Arimidex every other day (0.25mg)
1 tablet of clomid every other day (50mg)

Week 11:
300mg testosterone per week
1 quarter tablet of Fincar per day (1.25mg)
1 quarter tablet of Arimidex every other day (0.25mg)
1 tablet of clomid every other day (50mg)

Week 12:
200mg testosterone per week
1 quarter tablet of Fincar per day (1.25mg)
1 quarter tablet of Arimidex every other day (0.25mg)
1 tablet of clomid every day (50mg)

Week 13:
1.25mg of finasteride per day
.25mg of Arimidex every other day
100mg of clomid every day

Week 14:
1 quarter tablet of Arimidex every 3rd day (0.25mg)
50mg of clomid every day
 
drop the clomid until post cycle and dont bother with tapering the test down, just leave it at 500mg for all weeks. You will also need HCG for post cycle so be sure to read up on that for dosing and when exactly to start it, HCG very important.
Need a lot more protein, 6*30=180 grams a day. You are 215 lbs and for a cycle you need at least 1.5 grams per pound of body weight. So for you that would mean about 325 grams a day, minimum.

thanks for the info, so hold off the clomid just for pct and also add hcg. How long should the pct be? that is alot of protein I am going to have to be taking in..
 
Since you are 22 I wouldn't run test that heavy esp for the first round I would say somewhere between 300-400mg/wk...

Better get used to protein bro. Roids are about useless without enough protein. PCT should be about 3 weeks
 
after the cycle, can I return to 1gram per pound of body weight? and does anyone else think 500mg/week of test is too much?
 
I believe 1 gram of protein per lb is sufficient but maybe try 1.5 g/lb for your first cycle and see how you respond. Supplement companies pushing their products like glutamine and so forth. Drink a gallon of milk a day everyday, thats 160 grams of protein right there ( I always whore out milk, no I don't work for a dairy, lol). With the Test dosage...It all depends on the person. Some do well with 300mg/week. But since its your first cycle, it depends how hard you want to push it. Since you know your bodies limit better than anyone, you've got to make the decision. Whats your training look like? do you keep a food log?
 
Not enough protein. In the absolute worst case scenario, dont get below 1 gram per lb of body weight. I would definatley shoot for at least 1.5 though.
As stated already, dont run clomid while on cycle.
Also dont taper the test. There is no reason for it. Pick a dose and stick with it. For a first cycle at your age, I personally would just run 300mg E5D.

12 weeks of running test is too long for your first cycle, IMO... even if you are ramping down, which I think most people will agree there is no need for...

Run the same dosage for 8-10 weeks....don't run clomid during the cycle, only after for PCT...add low dosage HCG during the cycle along with some AI for estro control

agreed 8-10 weeks is fine for first cycle ... 300 - 400 mg a week is a good start , don’t taper off at the end (this is your first cycle you have no idea how it will affect you) your first run if done right can get you the best gains, don’t waist it by not doing all you can to maximize the results IMO Good luck

I work out 3 times a week.. legs and back on mondays, chest and triceps on wednesdays, biceps and shoulders fridays, I also work at a moving company, so my back and biceps are usually always soar during the week, not sure how to deal with that... but I still work out on time.. dont keep a food log, I just make sure to get atleast 30 grams of protein per meal..

Not sure how much test to take now.. you guys really think 500 is too much for my first cycle?
 
PCT with the clomid should be 3-4 weeks...Some people suggest to run it no longer that 3 weeks due to desensitization of the puituitary but you'll be fine...Follow this dosage protocol =70-100mgs the first 5 days, 50 mgs the next week, 25 mgs the next week, then I like to really taper myself down the last week to prevent estrogen rebound...so you could do 100/50/25/25 or less

I did 500 for my first cycle when I was 22 and I was 225. I'd say go with it. I ran it for 12 weeks. did nolva/clomid/ hcg for pct and worked out great, but that was 4.5 years ago. :)

thanks for the input.. Im a little confused now on how much to take and how long...since everyone has different experiences and input :confused: .... whats the benefits in taking both clomid and nolva for pct?

In my experience there is no benefit. Clomid by itself works best for me. Besides you want to avoid nolva after a deca cycle.
 
from your guys experiences what dosages and when would you recommend taking the clomid, arimidex, and the hcg? and also do you think propecia is needed? or will nizoral prevent any hairloss sides?
