New Gig

I started working in a new club with my roommate. No more fighting every weekend. No more icing down @ 5am.

I am VERY, VERY, HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:p

congrats. hope it works out.

Thanx for the shout outs fellas. The place is in Long Island and I can not disclose the name. I'll hit you guys up separately to inform.

Warpath

you should know that icing down after a night @ 5am means icing either, hands, elbows or knees.

One of my friends is a bouncer. . he is a 250lb brute!!! He has taken out a few people. . he loves the job!

It takes a certain type of person to do this type of work.

You are absoluetly right Loudin. Eyes and bodies don't cut it.

I'm not mean enough to handle a job like this. . even if I have wrestling skills. . .lol.

I am definitely mean enough. I grew up with a drill sergeant for a father. I learned respect and discipline quickly. Looks like it carried over bc I am the one handing it over now.

Wrestling skills will help you but there is almost NEVER a 1 on 1 fight anymore. Those days are long gone. If you hit the ground someone is likely to kick you in the face or back when you are or aren't looking.

If you got berries and a ticker thats enough for me.

Thats a rough way to earn a living. I've been shot at and got jumped by a mob of people when I was working as an armed guard in the projects. Thank god for pepper spray and .357 magnum. But you gotta do what you gotta do for a paycheck. Glad you landed a better job, stay safe.

Is Bobber still in this business?. . .he is perfect for this type of work. . he loves to throw down.

Hammer. . be careful bro. . you never know when someone will pull a knife.

Overall, would be a great job for taking out stress/internal anger.

Extra $$$ for a grad school kid. NOT a living my man. Thanx for the thoughtful comments man.

I don't see the point in listing your experiences? Were you a bouncer once or was that street shit?

Warpath are you relative of Lord Suston? Then I am not surprised

Already happened last halloween. Kid pulled a 8" knife on me. I put that kid into a hospital bed for a couple days. Knees, elbows and 1 haymaker for the finisher.

Not sure if Bobber is still in the business?....................

It is a great job to take out stress and anger man but it hs to be at the right times. It's not like I can start putting my knee into peoples ribs and chest. lololol

Warpath so what happened, did they miss?
Ya, they missed. Some punk took a pot shot at me with .22 or .380 from either their balcony or behind a building. I heard the crack and gravel and dust jumped up from about half a foot away from my right foot.

No bouncing, worked as an armed guard in hud housing before I went to college. Experiences listed just to show I know how that kind of job is.

This line of work pays wonderfully...both monetarily and in fringe benefits.

I havent bounced in months but my boy wants me to work with him at his gig which I am considering. i just can't get caught up in that life style while school is in session.

Nice to hear hammer- I am sure it will improve your "quality of life"...

The two things I remeber most from bouncing were 1)partying from 5am till 2pm the next day, and 2)my sister telling me that I was meaner and nastier than she could ever remember...

It is fun, pays good enough, has some good "perks", etc, but dealing with scumbags day in and day out takes its toll on you, though not always just physically
