Would the new "Physique Critique" forum be extra help enough to warrant it?

  • Yes, it would be great!

  • Meh, "Pictures of Members" is good enough.

I am proposing that a sub-forum of the Weight Training and Lifting section be created.

I would call it "Physique Critique"

In this sub forum, we can post pics up of where we are, and people can critique and give input to where and how we need to improve to gain a more complimenting figure as a whole.

I would say that all standard stage posing pics be posted. Front and back double biceps. Front and rear lat spread. Side tricep, chest, most muscular, abdominal/quad, etc.

Would this forum be of a greater help to the point that we should creat a sub forum?

Yes, we already have the pics of members area, but I am looking for bodybuilding specifics being discussed to enable those who compete, or strive for that look, to get solid feedback and opinions.

We got enough forums right now plus members pics is pretty much what your asking for.

then could we get some, pics down there, on what he's asking for. And encourage more people to post pics.

Lots of people do just post progress pics, and peopl say "Looking good, you look thick, nice bod.

If we had a sub-forum that was for bodybuilding specific, and people posted things like "Your lats need to come out a little more, and your delts up a touch more, your chest is disproportionally big, etc.

Maybe someone like needsize or wulfgar (if they are up to it) or anyone else who actively competes would be a forum "Judge" on how to make your bodybuilding physique improve. I can't imagine there being an overwhelming host of photos, so the amount of time to help out would be minimal on anyone's part.

This section would not include people who posted progress pics, and who are still 25% body fat. Or somone who asks: "What you think?" Or, "here's my starting pictures I'm new to lifting",

Posts lke these get comments like: "Keep at it!" or "You got a good base to start with"

It would be for relatively lean guys who need specific proportion critiquing to make their body be stage ready for best judging results in symmetry and proportion.

We all know that a symmetrical and proportional body is much more attractive.

"pics of our members" can be like that, if whoever posts pics asks for critiques
on the otherhand, i feel a training logs forum would be better to clean up the training forum

i think what buffguy is talking about is like a more serious version of the member pics forum where we can use constructive criticism more to help each other out. again i have no say in this, but i think it is a great idea.

It is alot easier to make new rules and clean up a forum rather then making a whole new one though.

I like it. I think we should have a forum called "Noobies" and all the young guys can go there and ask ANY question they want about working out, what to eat, anything and they would get responses instead of them comin and asking it on the wrong forums..idk

i think its better that new members get direction, but find the information theirselfs, otherwise theyll just expect the veteran bro's to spoon feed them.
