Stock Speed of 1.8
Overclocked to 2.45 atm on air cooling. Very quiet
Max temps 54C or 129.2F

Been running Prime 95 to stress test it while sleeping and all looks good. Time to bump it up to 2.5 and check the speeds.









Other system specs
- Lanparty NF2 Ultra B motherboard
- 2(512mb) OCZ EB 3700
- 250gb Maxtor (going to get a 10,000 rpm raptor for a boot drive for my games)
- Cooler Master Case Praetorean(sp?)
- Geforce 2 Ti since its a pull from my old computer. Contemplating whether to get a 9800pro or a x800pro and of course overclock them to xt speeds =)
- Thermalright SP-97 heatsink and 92mm Zalman fan at 2800rpm (almost silent)
- Hand Me down Floppy and my year old DVD burner.

Now time to bump the speeds up a bit while waiting for the gym to open in 2 hours.

I've got my 2400+ up to about 2.4ghz before having boot probs. Main problem is cooling because my office doesn't get very much cool air due to a prob with the a/c. The main thing I'm looking to upgrade is going up to 1gb of memory and something higher than my radeon 9500. x800xt would be nice

Hey Delinquent, if you get a x800xt or the new Geforce, make sure you upgrade your power supply to at least 480 watts.

Pass on the XT version of the 800. If you can find a x800pro with VIVO it can be flashed into an xt version with the right bios. If you decide to go for Geforce a GT is just a downclocked ultra.

Considering its an amd? A 3200+ only runs at 2.2ghz yet performs equal and in some apps faster than a P4 3.2C and faster than a 3.2Prescott.

I'm gonna try to overclock it (the bus speed) as soon as I get some higher speed memory.
Unfortunately overclocking by bus speed is my only option since my motherboard doesnt have multiplier adjustments

my home desk top pc is only a 900mhz but since all I do now is use it for the internet its jsut fine. I cant justify spending money to replace it yet.

My lap top is a 2.4ghz with wireless, I can take a crap and surf the web at the same time, that shit rocks!
