so im becoming a firefighter
hi ladies and guys im back
had to deal with some serious family stuff
no time for fun
now........im back and better than ever
however i need ideas for getting into shape for fire standards
diet is clean and good- lost 15lbs just from changing that
:) now i just need to get cardio up and my heart and lungs stronger
also need to work on upper body strength
 
Wow! Congrats! A trainer at my gym reccomended Crossfit (google it and you'll find a lot of info) type training for law enforcement, military, firefighter training. It's all about functional strength and conditioning with an emphasis on your own bodyweight. You can find a gym in your area. It's a lot of pullups, pushups, kettleball weighted movements, ect.

I'm more interested in body sculpting but it sounded interesting for training! I was training for the sheriff's department and finally got my push ups up to a 3 (lmao) and then found out I was disqualified before I began! :bawling:
