2 New Anabolic Board Rules:

1. If you source post(I don't care for what...unless it has been previously been approved by a MOD): You will be banned. TAKE IT TO SECURE EMAIL ONLY!

2. If you engage in "flame" fests with other users, you will be warned ONLY once. Disregard this warning and you will be banned.

Rule # 3-DO NOT list URLs or INITIALS to sites,and do not list PRICES to items you have obtained.This always leads to source posting and "PM me" posts,and this is prohibited.
 
Fonz, having a tighter set of rules is good, but with such strict inforcement there should be no room for ambiguity. What exactly constitutes a "flame fest"? Also what about asking if anyone knows where to get a specific item that is illegal in the US but not in canada or visa versa?? Very good new rules don't get me wrong but a little more specific would be nice, or I'll end up banned in no time. :)

BTW how do you define "if". heh heh, bad Clinton joke.

1st day back in 3 months... nice to see Fonz and Huck stepping up. You'll have your work cut out.

Sites is a little vague.... Are you just talking about sites that sell controlled-type substances (even if for "research")? There is an ad running for viagra right now.... I assume supplements are ok, or is elitefitnessnutrition the only one that can be discussed?

What about manufacturer sites? They don't sell, just product info, pics, holos, batch numbers, etc. IMO, those don't turn into scammer threads...

Also, aren't there a few sites that advertise at EF for pins, etc. or have all of those been pulled?
 
yeah, what about products for research purposes only? I am thinking of doing some femara vs. liquidex research in the near future.

This one is going to be tough. Can be a little more specific? Some of my most memorable flame fests were the ones between you and Big Cat. A good flame here and there helps spark an informative discussion.

good rules, IMHO. In the long run, it will just help the board, and keep it from suffering the fate that many other boards have faced. Wise move bro. - josh
 
i like the rules but i think links to pins and ancillaries should be ok...just my IMO

NO...#1-Ancillaries are not OTC,they are prescription DRUGS.They may be non-scheduled,but they are still CONTROLLED substances.It is going to be a matter of time now(due to all the blatant advertising of these web-sites,as well as people who are constantly posting their URL's all over every discussion board they can find)before this,"for research purposes only"slogan is going to be ripped to pieces by lawmakers/authorities,and we are helping to bring on this finality by blatantly posting these sites out in the open.I have always lived by a saying,"Rub the governments nose in what you're doing long enough,and eventually the wrong nose will start sniffing into what you're doing and pull your card".Discretion is not only smart,it is PRESERVATORY.

#2-Even if these places were selling OTC items,they do not pay to advertise here,so posting their info is in violation of TOS.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. I figured they must be taking advantage of some sort of legal loophole. You're probably right, it's just a matter of time before the feds catch on to this "research purposes" gimmick.
 
How about no personal addy postings!!! Huck knows what I'm talking about. A scammer posted my personal home addy saying to send funds to my home addy. I recieved 3 money orders and I sent them all back to the people who sent them to me. I could have cashed them and been an a**hole like O-S-D but ,I didnt.Why? Cuz I have freakin respect.

obviously it is. while mere possession of anchilliaries is not a crime, selling w/o a prescription is. some of them are also guilty of patent infringement; there is no legal generic cialis, generic aromasin, ... (at least i think so, don't know if there is a "research exception" but it would surprise me).
 
why is it illegal to ask if, for ex. I paid $00 for a bottle of XYX? I mean, I am not asking for a source...I just want to know if my source is taking advantage of me or not...
just wondering.
 
its you jsut admitted you commited a crime which means the board provided the venue for discussion for said ccrime and is thus implicated because they are directly profiting from the said discussion

Great new rules... sorry I didn't post up here earlier...

It's important that we protect the new guys who come to this board... they are very susceptible to seeing "I get this for X$" or asking questions about pricing -- and thinking they can go to you... and trust you. Hell, protect the new guys and the vets...

All in all... the anabolic board is pretty respectful... there are few guys around here to seem to push the envelope a bit... there are a few people that have pushed the envelope with me, I feel, unjustly... If you have a problem with someone, take it to PM's... if you have a problem with myself or another mod... please... take it to PM. Do not try to grandstand, take pot shots at mods to make yourself look better...

That type of behavior will no longer be tolerated.

Other than that... that anaboard is lookin' good! :)

If everyone had enough common sense these rules would be unnecessary.
They are here for your protection

Yes, let me be an example to all that you will face consequences for violating the TOS. I suggest that everyone here follows the new, as well as old, policies to the T.

As stated above, use common sense. When in doubt, email a MOD.
