The cast looks awesome. I have big hopes for this movie. I just wish the used the grey and black suit like in Batman Deadend.

It's supposed to be more "Year One"ish, but I haven't heard much about it...I don't think much of the new Batmobile, and I thought I heard that Ras al Ghul was the villain, which as I recall, doesn't fit in well with Year One, but I'll reserve judgment for now.

No, you should say this COULD be the best Batman movie of all of them. I'm very weary of movies based on comics because when you start messing with the very concepts and ideals that made that comic awesome, you are messing with something very important. I've seen some comic-based movies that were actually pretty decent. Personally, I like the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. After that, the series went to hell in a handbasket. Then of course, we have movies like the Hulk and Catwoman, about which I won't even lower myself to give comments. Bale is an awesome actor and yes, the cast looks stellar. However, when you start making deviations on this or changing that, you start straying away from what Batman is. I guess I'll agree with Project on this one and reserve judgement until I actually see it.

Ra's Al Ghul and the Scarecrow are the villains. They deliberately chose ones that have never been on film before.

When the last director pitched his vision, they should have known it was bad:

"Ok, so we need bigger codpieces for our heros."

"Also, the nipples in the suits....not long enough."

"Oh and I'm thinking of the finale being Ice Capades meets Cirque Du Soleil with a little WWF tossed in."
