New and Confused

Ok, I am not looking for specific places to find what I am looking for, however, I am new to this and I am confused, is there a right way to go about finding what I am looking for? Are there good places and not so good places or are there certain ways that I should try to find what it is that I want to cycle?

i just kept reading through threads and various forums to try and get an idea of what and how to look. i am still new but it takes time and dedication. information is definitely given on a need to know basis. good luck and keep your eyes and ears and whatever else open...
