I think you may be confused on what to use when eating a "bad" fatty meal....psyllium will only make you shit, not absorb fat..if anything is going to do that...its CHITOSAN, thats what you take with fatty meals, and in THOERY it binds to fat and you shit it out..pysllium does nothing of the sort.

I have heard the same thing about chitosan, maybe psyllum husks have chitosan in them?!?!?!

Yes I have heard this, and it also has the side effect of reducing the absorption of fat-solube vitamins in much the same way as olestra.
