New Adidas Intelegent Shoe?

MM107 said:
Any revies on this shoe? It loooks really great for running and i think i might have to buy them. I need a new pair of running shoes. =]

fuck just found out they are 250$. Well worth the money, but cant afford on my budget for 250$ shoes =[

Really you think that? They say the micro computar in the shoe can addapt the cushion and could tell how much cushion you need att hat point, etc. They also say it takes 1000 readings/sec to do this, anyone else have or know anyone on these? Because they could be a rip off, but i dont know anyone who uses them.

May not know anyone who uses them because they are brand new.

I can't imagine them working well or even being marginally better than your own favorite running shoe.

I guess I'll look for the reviews.

Mizuno makes great shoes. They're soft, so you burn through them. I've never experienced any pain eith them. As far as the Adidas shoe, if you're running outdoors, the terrain will constantly be changing. I can't imagine how "smart" the shoe would have to be in order to become clairvoyant. A treadmill may work, but I dunno.

Yeah, my running partner loves the Mizunos. I have had more luck with Nikes. I've logged over 300 miles in my current pair of Shox 2:45 includng two marathons and they are still going strong.

ya u guys a prob right, running on a treadmill is probably not what these shoes are for if they can tell the change in terrain. How about the nike shox? I need good running shos due very bad shin splin injury(something with the calf pushing my shins), wich hopefully will never come back if i prevent them. Thanks for the input.

Dear Friend,

I think its a marketing FAD. Do you remember the Rebook Pumps. Where you pump the shoes up so you get cousion around your anckles. Garbage product and lead to lots of ankle rolls.

MM - this question is one to go into the FAQ sticky.

Basically, go to a professional running store (call in advance to see if they do stride analysis or gate analysis - same thing). Then go and they will watch you run and make a recommendation.
