hey ladies! We have inherited a new little kiity(that makes 4 cats and a dog) and I just cant decide on a name...maybe you can help. she is a calico and her face is exacly half orange specled and half black speckeled. she is very active (I did say kitten right?) friendly and is fearless even when the husky mistakes her for his toy :chomp: she has medium long hair and is very sofy. to give an idea of the kind of names we like, the dogs name is PITA an acromym for Pain In The Ass (we named him out of love I assure you) Any sugestions? PS guys...no pussy jokes k?

Awwww! Post a picture!

I've always had my pets for awhile and a name would just pop out to fit their looks and personality.

Right now I have a big black cat I rescued named "Felix the feline"

I've always wanted a big orange Tom Cat named "Leo"

:kitty:

I agree that a name usualy finds itself after a time but it is almost a week and we cant decide. As for the pic I will try to get one posted but I am not very computer savy as I am sure you noticed my lack of an avatar? as soon as I figure out how to shrink and load the d#@* pic I will have both :p

Do you have a letter in mind?? As in the first letter of the name?? That's how I've chosen my cat's names -- look at them, get a feel for the "letter" then base a name off that...... I have Thomas & Lindsay..... also have Madonna, but that was her name when I got her....

we have thought of TC for tiney cat now and top cat later cause she is already running the show...but doesnt seem "just right"

I can't wait to see pictures!

I think it's hard to name pets. We named ours 5 years ago and every single one has a completely different nickname. I bet you'll think of something within a week when you know her better!

thanx everyone. we are going to try to figure out the picture thing this weekend. probably tomarow cause I am off to work now. she is chasing her tail right now in between trying to trap her shadow...and sneaking up on zig (the evil one) and pooh (scardie cat) I forgot how entertaining kittens where!

We tend to have unusual names for our pets here. Our beta's (fish) have been Kitty Treat, Sushi, Blueberry, Purply Wurply to name a few. My 19 y.o. cat is Sebastian, but his full name is Sebastiani Sabbatini Mattagotz Oogotz Ungool (the last 3 words are not spelled right but in Italian they mean something about a mattress and a dick up the ass). Our other cat's name is Gavone (Italian for eating like a pig because that is what he does) but we call him Smelly Boy because his poop stinks so bad! He is a cat we adopted as a stray in our yard and we have to keep him outside or if we let him in we have to stand guard over him...he pees where ever he wants to. Even when we let him in on the patio and there is a litter box, he will go up on the table and mark his territory. We had him fixed and all but there is no help for this cat. He's very affectionate and beautiful so we can't just ignore him.

When I was a kid I had dogs. Easter (I got her around Easter one year and couldn't think of a name) was half collie and half golden retriever with a white cross on her chest. She liked to run away and I'd have to go around the neighborhood yelling out her name. After a while everyone stopped thinking I was crazy for hollering out Easter during the middle of summer and other times of the year. Another dog I had was a shepard called Nippy. When he was a puppy he nipped me a lot when we were playing.

My daughter and I want to get a dog after my 19 y.o. cat passes away. Something cute like a cocker spaniel and call her Bruno.

hhhmm...what about something that represents your life?? such as um...justice...freedom...liberty....or you can go with something like..frisky, peewee, pistol, CAT...but sounds like SEE A TEE ....please let us know when you get a name!!! ;)
