That's Captain Harlock. Good job on the costume, very recognizable.

Harlock was old-school anime, from the same studio as Space Cruiser Yamato (Star Blazers) and Galaxy Express 999.

Good stuff, but they remade his whole storyline over about three times and it just got more and more messed up every time....

I think the dude in blue with red hair is Sonic.

The guy in the prison suit is Cody from Street Fighte 3 Alpha. This link will probably not work:

Have friends that cosplay on occasion. Sad thing is yes they do look sad like those there. I want to cosplay but I think I'll wait till I have some nice ripped muscles so I have an excuse to not wear a shirt around everyone and make them feel small. Like the beach = )
 
Well atleast they seem to have fun?! :) The mega man dude look very dangerous at the first pic, bet hes gonna take that blue rubberarm and go beat up some preschool kids.
