Nelson Montanas book.. who has read it and what do you think??

Im very interested in what the guy has to say and am thinking
of getting his ebook however I have bought other BB books
over the net and really didnt learn anything new, any guys
care to recommend it , I have never been a big believer of
"testimonials" as such but would like to hear from "unbiased"
bros on the board..

He has a perfectly reasonable question here... he wants other people's opinions so he has a better idea of whether or not he should buy the book- perfectly understandable IMO.

With that said- this question has been asked a number of times before. You're best bet, as it almost always is, would be to do a search- if possible.

I bought it. Excellent info. Mind blowing routines. I re-read it before hitting the gym for specific routines. I did his back and bi outline to the T. I was sore for a week! I would highly recommend it. Good luck on your decision...

My point exactly. 1 persons OPINION is not another persons OPINION. EVERYONE is going to have different views. I was just making a reasonable point. He is never going to get his own opinion unless he reads it. That would be like having to take a test on a subject and asking someones opinion hoping to pass the test. Not going to pass it unless he understands it from his point of view.

His book is pretty good. I dont know about $40 worth though...

One ebook I reccomend NOT getting is the Checmical Muscle Enhancement, a waste of $40 to me. I have no doubt that his cycles work (because you're pretty much on something year round) but 95% of the info in the book is standard knowledge or can be found for free via google search.

I've been training for 15+ years so of course I think I know exactly what I'm doing. However, I have great respect for Nelsons posts and am considering checking out his book, IMO he is a very intelligent guy and doesn't follow the leader.

I just got my copy today and have been reading it in bed since i can't do much else until my anesthesia wears off. I ordered it through Nelson's site because I wanted the physical book and not an e-book. I'm a little disappointed though since it's nothing but pages on a cheap plastic binder. 40 bucks for a real paperback book would have been alright, but I've made more professional looking reports in high school.

Anyway, back to the real point. I haven't finished reading it, but there are definitely some worthwhile points in the book. After reading every fucking board on the internet and seeing the same training advice regurgitated, it's nice to see some new ideas, as minor as some of them may be. I'm going to incorporate some of Nelson's training ideas because I need a change in my workout to combat boredom and find something that works better for me. I would recommend the book if you don't mind spending 40 bucks. Don't expect everything to be a new revelation.

I've been trying to purchase Nelson's book for three days now, but everytime I go to the "checkout" on the EF online store, the server states that there is a "inclusion failure". I have contacted [email protected], and they told me that my Visa debit card came back declined. But when I called my bank, they said there was nothing wrong with my card nor the account, and that there was never an attempt to charge my debit card. OT- but, I just wanted to tell a funny story about Mohawk. I ordered some supplements from him and paid his requested $10 in shipping. A week later i get a call from the post office saying "We have an envelope addressed to you with white powder spilling from it." This was during the anthrax scare, so i thought "Oh shit..." They were cool about it, but the guy had actually taped capsules together (with clear scotch tape) and enclosed them in a christmas card! They had gotten wet and leaked all over the place. WTF?!

Actually, the majority of the proceeds from the sale of the book off Elite, goes back into the site. I'll admit, at first I wasn't thrilled with making a smaller profit but I feel good about it now, knowing that it keeps the site up and running. This board provides a wealth of information you can't find anywhere else. (Unless you want to jump from one piddly site to the next and next...)

IMHO it is a good book for training and suplimentation, has some great info. The title though is a little misleading as it has only 2-3 pages that deal with AS. There were some new technics for training that I have not seen anywhere else. I would still recomend the book as is but at the same time would like to see him add more AS info to the existing book.
