Nelson, for the record...

How do you feel about RESPONSIBLE insulin usage?

RESPONSIBLE entails small amounts relative to user's bodyweight, not for more than 2-3 weeks at a time, humalog, more than enough carbs consumed after injection, and knowledgeable/dependable person around to monitor you when using.

(I tried to do a search for your views on slin, but since I'm not platinum, it didn't yield much)

so...what's the deal bro?

I agree with Synthol and Nubain but Insulin and DNP? Ok, maybe DNP but Insulin?? Please elaborate on that one. This should be good.

"Because every one of those compounds post a significant health risk. I'm old fashioned. I believe in bodyBUILDING. Not compromising one's health to achieve some temporary cosmetic advantage. Nubain is for pain. If you can't take pain, find another sport."

By the way...I agree.

I pretty much agree, though I had a very knowledgeable bro talk my ear off at the gym about how slin CAN be done safely. He's a track athlete and gets tested, so slin and GH are what he's got. I may be in the same position in a year or so, so I was wondering what Nelson thought about slin (being used safely is assumed here)...

I agree too. You see people putting oil in their shoulders or arms, and they can't even milt press 200, or curl 120. Yet they wonder why they have small shoulders and arms. Theres a lot of crap in bodybuilding these days.

As for the slin, I wouldn't mess with that, but hey, thats just me.

I'm sure whatever I say will be shot down with remarks such as; "It works for me" and "That's why the pros are so much bigger" and "If it's done right there's no danger" and "Show me studies where blah blah blah....

Bottom Line. Slin is serious shit and there's absolutely no reason for anyone to use insulin other than a pro who is willing to take any risk to win because that's his life and if he can't compete he's nobody.

The pancreas is extremely sensitive. It is not like the HPTA. Fuck up, and you may fuck up for the last time. And even if you don't, who knows how it will effect you down the line? Do you want to fight weight gain your whole life just to be a little bigger this month? There is no therepeutic slin use. If you need it, you're on it for life. What does that tell you?

Arnold, Zane, Howorth, Oliva, Ortiz, Scott, Draper, Haney -- none of them took slin. Look as good as them first, then we'll talk.

There are lots of knowledgable people -- what my grandfather used to call "book smart." They know lots of facts and informaton , but they don't know much else and they don't use good judgement. In fact, they let their education swell their ego to the point that if they don't forsee a problem, there can't possibly be one. Then it happens. Oops. Didn't figure on that.

Since I've been here two people have died from DNP. The response from the guru idiots. "He did it wrong!" People have died from steroid related illness. The response? "It wasn't steroids!" A fellow bro was just diagnosed with cancer. He took tren non stop. The response? "It wasnt the tren! You just need r-ALA." They're fools whistling in a graveyard -- an analogy that isn't as figurative as one may think.

Final words of advice. If someone knowledable tells you slin can be used responsibly, he's neither knowledgable or responsible.

Well Nelson, with that post you got my attention and then some. I think it's time for a wake up call. I never have been one to dabble with dangerous amounts, but then again, who's to say what amoung is dangerous. I think it's time to pick up a copy of your book.

- This is so true, people need to wake the fuck up.

Have to Agree

I have to agree with Nelson on this 100% -- even though I am educated. I am also against the use of DNP. Both have risks that outweigh the benefits of their use.

Nice Post Nelson! I think a lot of us can definitely agree. When you start playing with things like Slin and DNP and irresponsible steroid use, your playing with your life......

Tell that to ironmaster, one of the most respected members of this board.

That's a good point about the older time bodybuilders. In fact, to me, it is a good case against insulin use. Am I wrong in assuming that insuling drives glucose and protien into every muscle tissue- not just ones stimulated by training? i.e. Won't it build huge intercostals and obliques as well as shoulders? If so, where is the V-taper?

Not to mention other more important organs.
Good for nelson, shame for us, we´ve seen people gettin sick from irresponsible abuse usually because they weren't well informed of the risks or they thought they'd be OK, and yet here we are just thinking what to stack for the next cycle, it might be time to take a step back and look at picture and see if the price's worth the product.. :sulk:
