Neighbor flips when I hang Mexican flag......

She lost control then stated it was the first time she had ever done so with a neighbor. I thought it was a little humorous and a little sad. obviously she has vast personal problems to flip because someone hangs a Mexican flag.

I had two reasons:

Mexican contractors working on other neighbors house and I want some work from them so I decided to "market myself" as a friendly.

Other...can't say.


Is it my imagination? I just can't fathom a together person giving a shit what flag someone has. I had a college room mate who was proud of his Russian flag....it was obviously a joke and most folks understood that.


Even if it isn't a joke.....people should have freedom to hoist the flag on any friendly nation in my opinion.

Proper etiquette is to hang the American flag on top and the Mexican (insert country here) underneath. Yes, it is offensive to recognize your home country and not fly an American flag on top out of respect. If you put an American Flag on top (since you are in America) she would surely not have a preoblem. Anyway, who cares what she thinks? If you were my neighbor, I would sabotage your flagpole.

There are indeed plenty of Mexicans in the part of town where my studio is. There are no Mexicans where I live. Plenty of screwed up individuals in both locals.

The fact that so many despise them just makes me want to be nice to them since I despise the lowest echelons of mans nature.

I'll go a step further. If I had to get married, I would prefer many Mexican girls to many others for so many reasons.

It's not their presence that's deplorable. It's the fact that they flaunt our laws and break them with such flair and then turn around and have the gall to use our tax dollars, social services, pop up 9 billion babies just to get legal, and tell us how to run our government that's deplorable.
