Negative Karma Bombs...

I have just received a PM from George S. to vote how many negative karma bombs should the Platinum Members drop on a regular member but I cannot vote unless I become a Platinum Member.

Anyway why would anyone want to dropping a negative Karma bomb on a regular member for his/her posts to go dark knowing that that particular member may want to become a Platinum Member in the future. Won't the bombing of the member dissuade the regular member from becoming a paying client on the EF?
