I'm well into the Madcow 5x5 SF program and I unfortunately messed up my knees and need to give them a rest for a little while. So this pretty much means no squats and probably no deads for the time being
. I was thinking I'd replace deads with weighted chins for the time being, but what do you think I should do in place of the squats, if anything? I think I could probably get away with SLDLs. Would it make sense to add in additonal upper body work since my body won't be as taxed with the subtraction of the squats? Thanks.
