need to gain 10 lbs fast!

can someone who has successfully put on weight (in a short period of time) share their meal plan with me? i eat like a pig, and i'm losing weight!! :confused: i currently weigh 103 lbs at 5'5.

this what i'd eat on a normal day:

1) carnation instant breakfast shake
2) snack: chocolate/granola bar and two apples
3) two slices of pizza or whatever the uni caf has to offer and a salad
4) snack: granola bar/ chocolate bar
5) chicken breast with brocoli and rice/tuna salad sanwich with girlled vegetables/etc
6) before i go to bed: ice cream

^^ i should be gaining weight right??
 
Well I wouldn't say you are eating like a pig...but that's a good thing.

Eating like a pig will do nothing more than make you fat and I don't think that's the kind of weight you really want to gain.

To put on solid, quality mass - you need to increase the amount of QUALITY calories you eat.

The only serious difference between my bulking and cutting diet is the quantity of food. When I start bulking I don't start eating garbage (although I might be slightly less strict and incorporate more red meat, etc.,!) - overall I simply eat larger portions of the traditional bodybuilding foods (chicken, unrefined carbs, etc.,).

I can't say for sure because you haven't listed ratio totals - but I would say from looking at your list that you are barely in maintenance mode (depending on your daily calorie expenditure, etc., - lots of variable there really, so it's tough to say).

Bottom line - if you still aren't gaining - you obviously need to eat more!
 
Eat more meat. Add more beef, poultry, fish to every meal. At 103 lbs, eat whatever the hell you can get your hands on. Up your lower GI carbs, add some healthy fats and any cuts of bbef you can get. I'd say do this until you start gaining fat, then cut the crap out (chocolate bars, shit like that) and replace those cals with cleaner stuff. But for now, just eat.
 
agreed, it doesnt look like youre getting nearly enough protein, and youre probably right around your maintenance level - drop some of the add in foods you have listed and go for lean protein sources like fish, chicken, pork chops, turkey, beef, protein shakes - and have good fats like flax, pb, etc. Your Diet:

Carnation Instant Breakfast - dump, not good enough
Granola Bar and apples - dump, no protein, all carbs
Pizza and salad - dump, better protein sources
Granola Bar / Choc bar - dump
#5 looks cool
Ice Cream before bed - dump for protein shake

I dont mean to flame but having the right diet program in terms of nutrients will make a huge difference in what your trying to do. Also and im not sure if you do cardio, but if you do, dump it, and dont work out too much
 
yes you aren't eating like a pig, and your not eating enough protein at all, if your trying to bulk u need to eat at least 25g protein at every meal, AT LEAST!!!!! do whatever that means, even if it means adding a can of tuna to every meal!!! no protein=no weight, at least not the kind u want, and dont eat the ice cream, it doesn't do anything except add fat that u will eventually want to lose
 
I am not trying to slam you bro,,,, but that diet blows donkey dick..... you need to get a lot more protein and get it from meat. Start Slamming steaks,, whole milk,, whole eggs,, Pasta,, potatoes with butter. I would get a minimum of 200 grams of protein a day and should be more like 250. At your weight I don't think adding the fatty stuff is going to hurt you at all. Try eating 8 times a day with some kind of quality protein at each meal. Maybe get some protein shakes. 105 is very very light at the height assuming you are a guy. Just be patient and slam the good stuff
