Need some Opinions

Hey guys, i posted some pics 3 weeks ago, if you havent seen them, here's the thread:

Im debating on continuing on the palumbo diet (tweeked by me),

or adding in some carbs and slowly try to put on 5-8 pounds of muscle by next july. still keeping cardio at 60 minutes before breakfast

or should i start bulking up now, no junk food, 2-3 cheat meals per week which would be a sushi buffet post workout.

please, all opinions appreciated. i only weigh 160-163 if youre wondering, im 5'6, thats why, i look bigger according to my friends and people at the gym.

ive been dieting since march april ish this year, carb cycling, didnt work so well, cheated alot on high carb days, did 3 low, 1 high. then started palumbo keto style diet on August 24th. kinda late, dieting when the summer ended, but i had tattoo appointments that would keep me out of the gym for 2-3 days. had surgery on forearm in july and had stitches in for 2 weeks, then on laceration didnt heal right because of blood clot and had to wait another week, so that messed up my whole dieting this summer. word of advice for anyone who wants to get tattoo, do it in the winter time.

so let me hear what you guy think.

Also, for a bulk , i would like to do a test e/tren e/deca cycle, moderate doses, for those who know me, know i dont go crazy with the doses. also gonna through in dbol for 5 weeks.

if im gonna lean bulk, im just gonna run 250mg of test e every 4 days, and tren e 125mg every 4 days.

then my spring cutter would be test e/tren e/ masteron e.

imo add the carbs

You think i should keep the fats up and just add 1 serving of carbs to each meal, or add more. dave palumbo says to add 30 grams of carbs to each meal so you dont get fat coming from a no carb keto diet to having carbs. i was thinking just going straight into a bulk.

btw, another question for you joe, you used to drink alot of milk right, was that fat free milk or whole milk, same for cheese.

not to much cheese. i drank over 1 gallon of whole milk every day. i still now drink a few cups per day but its usually 1% for health reasons.

i think a gradual adjustment is better when adding a lot more of anything to your diet. even when it is being switched with another like the common fat/carb diets. making huge adjustments all at once is to much, you wind up storing it all. your body will adapt to to a higher food content and learn how to make good use of it if its gradual.

Wow, 1 gallon is a lot, but its a great protein source and has vitamins. thats why your back is extremely insane :biggrin:. i dont mind drinking fat free milk, once i drink it for a week, im used to it, same with diet soda. i get your point, so i should gradually increase calories, i honestly can take in 6000-7000 calories no problems, it would take me 2-3 weks to get used to, but you think thats a bit too much right? should i add in 1 portion of carbs to my 6 meals and still keep my fats high (14-16 grams per meal from anpb, whole alomnds, evoo). and how much calories should i increase and how often?

for health purposes minimal amount of food required to grow. for bbing purposes as much food as you can manage to eat without your bf soaring to high. the thing is is its different for everyone because some people lose a lot of muscle while dieting and or dont lose fat easily. those people should stay lean all the time. others like myself can build better muscle while carrying high bf because its easy to lose the fat and keep the muscle. i used to eat over 8000 cals ed. i stayed around 20% bf knowing in a few months i could drop to sub10%.

i made a new start at bbing after regaining my health. after intentionally losing 80lbs of fat and muscle i started back with verry little gear, half the diet and am slowly getting bigger. but the lack of food and masive amounts of gear is making development slow. i dont think i will exceed my avi much. let alone the 250+ comp weight i was once after.

food is the main ingredient to mass.

I gain and lose easily. im only 5'6. last year when i did a clean bulk, i went from 130 to 173. now im down to 160-163 from 173-175. i feel small when i cut because im not that big to begin with. i should have really bulked up and added in high gi carbs but i was eating only whole wheat everything and brown rice, sweet potatoes etc. so i will start bulking now until march and start cutting on march 1st, does that sound like a good idea? i know ill hit 200lbs. then i would like to cut to 175-178

bulk bulk bulk. dont cut until you need to. once you dont needf it anymore bulk again.

dispite popular beleif if you are trying to increase food consuption your meals should be every 2-3 hours and about 20-30% of your carbs with every meal should be hi gi. besides the first meal of about 60% and your first post w/o at 100%

I thought about that with the mixing of carbs, so instead of eating 3 cups of white rice, i should eat 1 1/2 white rice mixed with 1 1/2 brown rice. and bagels, have 1 white bagel and 1 whole wheat bagel?

i dont know about going all the way up to 50% but thats the right idea.

And the milk and cheese ting, fat free, 2%, or whole. 1 cup of ff milk has 86, and 1 cup of whole milk has 149. big calorie difference but wouldnt the saturated fat from milk and red meat be beneficial for bulking? and nutrient densed?

whole milk is by far better for building than any other milk. i never ate much cheese, milk is better so why not just drink milk. thats not to say i wont destroy a large cheese steak pizza once in a great while just because i feal like it.

i was gonna throw a slice or 2 with my morning 6 whole eggs and bagels, because the fat from the cheese would lower the glycemic index from the white bagels right? so would the egg yolks.

the sound of that cheese steak pizza makes me want to order one for todays football game, lol. i have a diet consisting of 6-7 meals, havent decided yet, each meals at least 1000 calories, you mind if i type it up and send it to you in a pm for you to critique?
