Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Yesterday I hopped on the bicep-bandwagon and shot my right bi with 1/2cc of T-100 brovel prop. Well this morning I woke up and I could not fully extend my arm much less work my back today. The area only hurts if I press on it or do a pulling motion. It is also dark pink in the injection area. Needle used was 25g 5/8". If this is an absess can I go to a walk-in clinic and tell them I shot B complex or something? Please help bros I'm kind of baffled on this one. BTW, today was my 10th injection of the cycle. So I know my gear is not dirty. (I think...??)
Need some opinions about possible absess.

i had something like that in my tri a few days ago, my whole arm got really big and mushy, hurt when i moved or layed on it. I went to the doc, got antibiotics and it's all better now, less then a week. I'd say get it checked out, better safe then sorry. Oh yea, i told the doc i shot steroids, and all she said was something about working hard and doing it naturally, i just noded and took my script. Good luck bro

Two cycles ago, I did a bunch of site injections with Anatest Propionate and ended up looking like the Elephant Man. I had nasty bruising and swelling, the pain was beyond description. I was pretty scared and ended up visiting the Doctor and told her what I had done. She said the lack of a fever, coupled with the exact same injury at every injection site, led her to believe that an infection was not involved. No antibiotics were prescribed. Several days later I began to recover and everything went back to normal. During that cycle, I was also using Cytadren, which resulted in a massive delay in my clotting times. That would explain the bruising that I had.
In my opinion, I think what you've got is a garden variety reaction to Prop. Most guys experience some swelling and pain with Prop shots. It'll last for a few days too. If you're comfortable around Doctors, drop in and tell'em ya did B12, see what they say. If not, wait a few days and see how it goes.
I love Propionate, its one of my faves. Prop and Sustenon is all I run for Test. But after that experience, I only use it with glutes. Leave the site injections to V and Fina.

Just to update my iron brothers, I just got back from the ER. Today the injection area was red and I had a fever through the roof. I told the doc that I was injecting B complex and he looked at me like I was a moron. Anyways, I got a script for antibiotics. Should I continue my cycle with the anti-b's?
If you truly had an infection from an injection, the first thing you should ask yourself before continuing your cycle is, why did you get the infection in the first place? Dirty gear, improper injection techniques, etc. If you know for a fact that your gear is legit it should not hurt you to continue your cycle while on Anti B's. Just be careful and maybe stay away from the site injections.
