Need some info on Tattoo Meanings

Anyone know any good sites that have detailed info on Traditional Japanese Tattoo art meanings and pics...Specifically Kabuki Masks and Hanya Masks...

I already got a large peice on my arm...but need to fill in the inside of my bicep...and the artist suggested to do a mural of those masks...but i dontknow exactly what they mean and which ones id like...

I would find someone fluent in Japanese and ask them for the correct translation. Or go to a book store, do some research in their language section and then get it confirmed by someone fluent in Japanese.

I agree, as a slight of hand by a non speaking drawer of your art could make "the beast" into "rapist" or somethng like that.

check out any high schools offering japanese tuition, the tutor may help you out.The better alternatives are under "translators" in the phone book.Here in NZ they offer written translations from just about any language into english, for important documents etc, so the reverse must be available.

Im not looking to translate the language...like dragons mean something...as do all japanese tatttoos...thanks anyways but i found it
