Need some help with a doctor.

I have decided to get my own doctor for blood work, tests, etc(different than my primary physician). I looked up a couple endocrinologists in the area(Dallas) but i don't really know what to look for. Do i need a specialized sports doctor?

If any one have any advice i would really appreciate it from you bros.

-What questions should i ask the doctor?
-Should i be upfront with AAS usage?
-What should i expect from the doctor? (his response, etc)

I just went to my family physician and he referred me to a diagnostic center.

1) Tell him what you want to be tested for. After the tests he will tell you what is good and bad
2) That is up to you and how comfortable you feel with it. He may put it on your record.
3) Go back to (1). Most docs are there to help so we will see.

If you live near a tourist area, just to a a clinic and pay the $45 plus lab fee. It's pretty much anonymous in those areas as they rarely ask for ID

I had my bloodwork done in November. I had slightly (very slight) elevated liver values, my LDL's were high and my cholesterol was up about 40 pts from where it normally was. I wasn't too alarmed cause I know the results will improve over time if I take care of myself. Mine was caused by Sust + dbol + winny.

My doc, my primary care physician, said it was nothing to be concerned about, he just wants me to get it rechecked in June.

I think if you're not going to tell your doc about your usage (I choose not to), then there's no point in seeking another doctor just for blood tests. Chances are you're going to know alot more about steroids, anti estrogens and liver detox than your doctor will. Even if things come back high and and he wants to start you on Lipitor or some other prescription, you always have the right to refuse. You could always try it once with your current doc, and if you don't like the way he handles things, seek another for future tests. Just my .02.

edit: BTW - I always ask for copies of my bloodwork, and have done so for the last 12 years. I monitor my own health. I like my doctor, but I don't have confidence in his ability to track my health along with his thousands of other patients at the same time. They're only human.
