need some computer help....

anyone know if brand name computer manufacturers (IBM, Compaq, Dell ect) incorporated external voltage switches (110 ac to 220 ac) or 'universal power supplies' in older computer towers having socket 7 motherboard and slot 1 motherboard configurations?

any help at all would be appreciated.

Dell's have the external switch on the back of the power supply.

Or they used to when I did tech support for them a couple years ago

yea,

this is for computers built around 6-7 years ago. 200-300 mhz jobbies.

Since it took awhile to cheapify things even further by reducing options on them, its somewhat likely.
