need some advice

Has any one just put the gear in the check in luggage does it get scanned? what would happen if they saw a neddle and or the amps. Would they stop you and ask or just let it through if its only one or two amps? Also do think if you put the amps in your pocket would that be a better idea since they are glass, so it should not go off at the metal detector. let me know I travel three days a week so I do not want to miss any shots just cause I'm gone. Thanks
If your traveling domestic and you know where you'll be staying, you could mail your gear to your self. Check with the hotel a lot of them will accept advanced mail for you.
Yes, the check-in luggage definately gets checked.
No, I would definately not be trying to smuggle sharp objects, i.e. syringes, onboard.
They deported that art student who forgot his art knife in his luggage, I don't think you need that kind of hassle.
Although if they sent you to europe you wouldn't have to worry about illegal use anymore.
