This thread is open to all actually. I need a good mattress recommendations. MySimon just can't make up his mind. I'm looking to stay under 2K, preferably $1500 for a King.......Looks like Sealy may have the best deal.

I'm actually in the process of buying her a canopy bed and mattress for her 30th birthday this Saturday. Having a big party for her too.....like 200 people. Did you get your invitation in the mail?

This may not help but I`ve always had a firm mattress. WWhen I resized to a King from a Queen I looked into the Pillow Top mattresses (from Y_Lifter`s advice- Thanks bro) It came down to 2, The Simmons BeautyRest and King Coil... something... The Simmons was $1600 and the King Coil was $1000 from 1-800-Mattres. We went with the KC because it was more comfortable, but I think the Simmons has more durability.

PillowTop ALL THE WAY! We love it.

I don't know the brand but I have a mattress that is silk lined on one side and wool lined on the other. you use the silk side for spring and summer and the wool side for fall and winter. It has that pillow top stuff on both sides, makes it look like 2 matresess. I bought it from some guy that worked at the factory where they made them. He obviously stold them and sold me the complete queen set, matress and box spring, for $400. He told they retailed for over $3000. It is the most comfortable bed ever.
