need opinions

my GF comes to visit me at the bar i bounce at. I work the front door. She is there with me for at least 35 minutes. People start to walk up. She recognizes a guy in line and says hi. The guy is reluctant to say hi back and gives a timid hello. He asks her who she is with and she replies that she was just leaving. She did not mention she was with me or there to see me. I looked her dead in the eyes as soon as she said I was just leaving and said, you're under protest. Her response to why she didnt tell the guy that she was with me was that she didnt know she could do that?

I have been with this one for over a year. Never cheated, vice versa. It seems the games are beginning though. Anybody see a discrepency here? I think I do.

I wouldn't read too much into that, it could have easily been an honest mistake.

But in order to not take any chances, find that guy and teach him lesson!

You two have been dating for a year and she didn't know she could do that? That is odd. Where did she go after she left your bar?

Act like a man...always act like a respectable man.

Do what is right...always.

We really can't tell you what to do. Do what you feel is right.
But that was really lame of her to do that.

DBD,

it sounds to me like she was trying to use this other guy to make you jealous.....dude, she was/is mind fucking you.

now, are you going to let her continue to yank your chain?

negative kind sir. This is what I thought initially. Dissapointing really, how one persons possible insecurities would lead to the discomfort of another. I think I need a GF with more confidence or she has to step up. :)

She is disrespecting you with her actions and she did it right in front of your face.

That is not the actions of a woman who is deeply in love. She did not want that guy to know that you were her boyfriend. That is a bad sign.

This could mean a million different things, but in the end it means that she is shopping around for a newer model and she does not want her relatiopnship to slow her down.

well said!!

Personally, I'd find something of hers that means a great deal to her, then I'd shit all over it. I'd squat down right over top of it, and just spread a huge steamer all over it. You can thank me later when she sucks your cock for taking control of the situation.

hey!

First thing I thought when I read that was "that's odd". And odd is never good with women. "Odd" means issues.

Just look for a pattern. People's actions rarely lie. Words often do.

Her actions is what many women would do and try to play it off. Guy can never know what going on in their heads. Sure it's wrong, but im sure this isn't the first time youve seen something like this.

Long Island girls are the worst, I grew up there. But this situation doesnt scream cheating.

Here are hypotheticals:
He was just wondering if her girl friends were with her? Maybe one of her friends knew him, or was with him at some point.

She might not have remembered/known his name for an introduction to you, or she thought it wasnt worth explaining to him why she was there and introducing a loser to you.

If she told them that her bf was the bouncer, would they have wanted to cut the line?

I wouldnt worry about it bro...

This thread made me laugh cause you told me about this last night when I saw ya. I think I gave you my opinion then but I don't remember what I responded to it.

To be honest the response most people would expect someone to say would be "O I just stopped up her to see my boyfriend for a bit but I'm leaving"

Maybe she didn't say that cause she figured she was leaving and thats all she needed to say. Which actually is strange.

Or she could have like everyone else said, didn't want you to see her talking to a guy and kept her conversation with him short. Or she was just being on thoughtful and didn't want to tell people you were her boyfriend.

In denial much?

Well, i would confron ther about it personally. It is definitly shady. However, you did say she just stopped by to see you. When the dude asked her who she was with, she may have just figured he was asking what freinds she had came with. As in who she was anging out with. In her mind she just came to say hi and leave, so she replied no one. Could have been just an honest mistake. Then again, she might not want this dude knowing you are her bf, and her doingthat right in front of you is fucked. Lik Mayy said, pay attention to her actions, and think back if she has even done anything like that before. Good luck.

Sounds suspicious but you shouldn't jump the gun....find some tangible proof THEN kick the shit out him/her.

I've always gotten in shit for acting when i shouldn't have

Maybe she's an attention whore like so many of them. Maybe she just wants the guy to chase her, so she can feed her ego despite his feelings and yours.

JK...Im not the line guy

The action was shady. But she may just have thought it would piss you off to further the conversation with introductions.

Or

You witnessed your first warning sign that all is not what it seems.

It's quite possible you are reading too much into this you know. Just because she didn't grab you and say, "I'm visiting my boyfriend" does not mean anything. Does the fact that she made the trip to come see you while you were working not mean anything? That was a thoughtful gesture and one that I know I would appreciate. Don't jump the gun on this and don't make assumptions.

I was just waiting for that to be said considering I think I might be the only woman that posted on this thread. But it's the truth. Assumptions cannot be made about another person's thoughts or reasons. It's not speaking like a woman to say consider all possibilities.

You know exatctly why she did that. You are a woman. Why do you not tell him the truth? You are not helping him with your distractions.
