need help with diet

can someone give me any ideas of what to do i'm currently 6'0 178 pounds with 20% bodyfat. I started training about 1 1/2 years ago i was about 150 pounds so i was really skinny with low bodyfat and started eating anything i could get my hands on but i wasn't doing any cardio. Now i cant decide what to do, i want to gain more mass and cut my bodyfat but i know you cant do both at the same time and i cant decide which way to go.
would appreciate any help
 
why don't you try to cut while maintaining your current muscle... to see what have you really earned and what you need to work on.

I'm ectomorph too, and sometimes a 20 bf% can make you feel big but the truth after cutting a little is that you still need more size on... a period of cutting and maintaining sounds easy, but for ectomorphs it is a challenge.
