Need help with ALA...

Hello

I am going to start taking ALA as part of a fat-loss/cardiovaslcular program. I would like to retain as much lean mass as possible while losing as much fat as possible, but most of my training will be geared around aerobic activity. I'm not going to stop lifting, but it will take a back burner to running.

So when and what doesages should I take? Is there an agreed upon standard like x milligrams of ALA per y grams of carbs you are taking in per meal?

if taking ala, its 100mg for every 10grams of carbs, taken before you consume your carbs - if taking r-ala, its about 3:1, so for every 30grams of carbs, 100mg of r-ala. You should also throw in some CLA, ECA stack, and L-Carn, all will help with keeping muscle and losing fat

Good advice...

also, you SHOULDNT put lifting on the back burner. It is more important than running while trying to lose fat. LIFT HEAVEY. Try a 5x5 work out (check training board). 5 sets of 5 reps. This will preserve muscle while burning cals. For cardio... try High Intensity Interval Training in the morning on an empty stomach... 3-4 times a week. This will burn fat and minimise muscle loss.
 
Do you take the CLA/ECA/L-Carn all together, like in the morning on an emtpy stomach or do you take it throughout the day?

As for ALA, I assume right before a meal with moderate carbs..

Take the ECA stack in the morning and again 5 hours later... but take them all together.

youre right on wit the ala. 300mg 30 carbs for ala... and 100mg for 30 carbs w/ r-ala.
