Need help w/avatars and smilies!!! HELLLLLLLP!!!!

I need help guys! I can't see anyone's avatar and I can't put up any smilies! There used to bo an area I went to to choose a smiley and it's been gone for a while now.

oh, another thing is that when I perform searches and go through older posts, that is the only time that everyones avatar actually appears but I can't see them when I'm usually posting! I don't get it!

What do you guys think it is? .

I think it has something to do with your...edit options in your profile...go to thread view options and tick a few boxes..
