I am what you would call a begginer weightlifter and i need some good advice on ways to really increase my protein intake during the day.
Currently i am 4 weeks into a bulking period which i hope to keep going for another 10 weeks.
I have been informed that the best foods for protein are eggs, milk, cheese (particulary cottage cheese), tuna, chicken and other meat products.
I need advice on ways to incorporate as much of these food types into my daily teenage diet throughout the holiday period.
Tuna and milk are generally a quick and easy snack to whip up.
Eggs are a little bit finicky as they should be cooked and this can be a bit annoying. I have been told that just drinking the eggs raw is alot easier and quicker but i tried to drink a few eggs raw and i almost threw up.
Cottage cheese isnt what u would call 'favourable'.
Chicken and meats are generally easier as u just slap a few breasts or steaks into the oven or frypan.
But i need some advice on incorporating more high protein foods into my diet. Possibly some ways to get raw eggs to be actually eatible and the same with cottage cheese. Recipes etc would be helpful and other tips on how to increase your protein intake in the day would be really helpful.
