Need help planning a cycle

My friend wants to do a cycle, it'll be his first one and he is 51 years young. He is just starting to work out and I'm not sure what he needs. He says that he wants to bulk up and get big. I know what is good for me, but I'am unsure because of his age and he is on blood pressure meds. So if anyone can help me out, it'll be great.
 
He needs to be careful & probably not start on anything too harsh. Does he currently work out?-in any kind of shape?athletic at all?... or is he Homer Simpson thinking a round of AS & he'll be ripped & studly?..I'm 45 & also have high bp & i'm going to go light. (Like me..) he has to worry about fluid retention & jacking up his bp-not to mention his liver.
Do research--you can find anything on the net if you dig enough.--just the worthless opinion of a EF noob...
 
i think "your friend" needs to figure out weight training and some dieting techniques before going the AS route. most of us here have trained at least 4-5 years before diving into the AS pond. i was training 9 years before.
 
He is in a little shape he retired as a detective and is doing personal security with big,big crowds. I think he needs to start working out first on a regular bases too. Once he gets into that and going good, what are some light possibilities for him?
