Need Help on my Supplements!

Im new to the forums here just read about a hour or so to gain as much as i could before asking dumb questions.
I take
Pre Work-out
Leukic
NaNO-vapor - I hear it sucks =x from reading
Pro-Nos Protein - haven't seen it on the first 8 pages of this forum so not sure what to think about it.

And After my workout i take
Cell-tech
And the Halo

Edit - Take the GNC multi - Fish oil - Milk thistle
Some background info on me so you guys can see where im at, im 18 still a senior in HS so its hard to get those 5 meals a day in, work mon-thurs everyday after school also which sucks to try and keep my diet alive.
go to the gym 6 days a week 9-11 with 2 buddies, went from 176-185 in a month roughly. Im gonna try the Amp02 and Lipo hopefully when the site comes back up. i need some advice on what i should switch around on my supplements and what ones i should just toss and what ones i should look to buy.
Info on my diet
I keep it semi healthy
No soda, candy , fast food, junk foods (cakes ect), i don't drink or smoke(been pretty hard to not do that when about a good 80% of your school drinks and smokes) but i don't enjoy doing that anyway, i usually eat a lot of chicken and home cooked meals, lunch meat nothing really bad but some home cooked meals aren't always the best for you either i guess. I eat a lot of Clementine's , apples , bananas. i just drink reg milk , a lot of Gatorade and water.
Hopefully i gave you guys enough enough to help me out, thanks again in advanced

fyi - all i do is take what the supplements tell me to take cause i don't know if it would be healthy to play with it or not.
 
My opinion is, if you can buy it at GNC its not worth buying!...unless its the goldc card sale and youre getting basics.

Essentials:
-GOOD Multi (made for people who work out...AKA not the typical 1-a-day stuff)
-Fish oil
-Protein (ON 100% Whey Gold Standard is what I use and I think a lot of other guys on here as well)
-Good diet. (not really a supplement, but it IS essential)

Those are the basics that you really HAVE to have to get the most out of your workouts. Optional additions you can make if they fit you and you have the budget:
-Pre-workout supplement for energy
-Creatine (others here know the reasons why, I'm not that informed upon it yet)
There are others that I don't really know much about and don't bother with so I'm not going to list them.

But yea, that's all I've got for ya.
 
the leukic from muscletech is based on solid science, but what isnt known is whether you'd get the same results from plain old bulk leucine powder at 10% of the cost. no head-to-head comparisons that I'm aware of.

their claim is that bonding it to keproscaprasomethingoranothern as they do makes all the difference. worth paying 900% more for? doubtful.
 
Cool, thanks for the advice. i was looking around on the fourms and seen alot of people taking other stuff like Vit B and products like that, which ones are good i seen twinlab has good name out there and what products i should buy seen there amino fuel was looking good and the gultamine but i wasnt sure what to buy w/o asking you guys first before i waste my money

You don't need anything amino...well...
BCAA's are an optional addition, though there's a thread somewhere around here that debates whether or not they do anything. If you wanna try it, make sure you get it in powder form. I'd recommend Xtend from Scivation as a quality BCAA powder (google it).

Glutamine is in bananas and also in my ON 100% Whey so I personally don't feel like I have to add more... it does help with recovery so if you're not getting enough it may be worth it to supplement it.

Glutamine is a skelatal amino is it's maine (only) bennifit
5-15 grams a day if you choose morning, PWO, and Post

BCAA's are good if you have the money (not a lot) to have them around when you just can't get your aminos else where (like should be in a good Protein shake)

Creatine is great for ATP (dont load, just cycle)

Taurine (can be help full for work outs)

Arganine (great all around in my oppinion, thats just me)

There are your aminos in a nut shell, I use BCAA's, Creatine, Glutamine, Taurine, Glycine, Alanine, Betaine (HCI), and good multi. Thats just when I'm not eating ever 2 hours and taking my shakes (Waxy Maize and EAS Isolate)
 
Awesome, thanks for the help! got one more question and don't wanna make a new post and flood the fourms, but im gonna take the lipo ultra stack come mid april to cut for the summer. but on the web site it says take before morning cardio ect, im at school and work 7 to 8 mon-thurs so i hit the gym from 9-11, and on fri-sun gym from 6-8 so i was wondering how i would take these pills on my schedual

Dont know your am's pm's bro.

Dont know if you talking work 7pm or am or gym 9-11 am or pm

Some peoples schedules are crazy not sure what you do or when you lift are those Am's or Pm's?
