Need help, Dislocated hand

After reading a lot of advice from you guys, I've been doing great on a 5x5 program. I recently started getting sharp stabbing pains on the lower palm of my hand, mostly while doing bench (or any kind of pressing motion). While at my chiropractor I had him look at it and he said it was dislocated. He popped it back in. A week later it was hurting still. I went to see him again and found I had the same problem and on top of that I popped a rib out doing DB flies trying to work the chest (since I was unable to do bench). My question, is this caused by something I'm doing wrong? He said I should lay off any pressing motion for at least a week. Is there anything I can do to continue my progress?

My routine:
Day 1
Bench
Squat
Rows

Day 3
Military Press
Squat
Pull-ups

Day 5
Bench
Squat
Rows

Chances are you should give it the week. you may just have a few weak ligaments that is causing it to pop out.
But if you are like many of us we will not stop training an injured area so try to work around it. If you wrap your thumb around the bar try keeping it on the side your fingers are. This will force the bar to sit more in the palm to the lower palm towards the wrist that should take some of the pressure off the upper part where the injury is.
If that doesn't work you will probably have no choice but to take it off.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately the pain is right where the bar sits on the lower palm. Do you know of any lifts that I can do so that I can minimize any losses of the great gains I've made? Thanks for your help
