Hi folks. Hoping maybe some of you can give suggestions on my diet, AND suggest what I can do to tweak it, as my body is adapting and the fat losse is slowing......
First, I'm 6'3", 194 lbs. When I started two months ago I was 214, so things were quick but have no slowed, but otherwise going very well.. I'm on the body sculpting body for men workout, which I don't need to tweak as I'm sold on it (It's 4 days lifting, 2 days cardio/ab work, progressive intensity 2 week alternating routine). The diet in their book is a little iffy, so I've adjusted it based on input from weightlifters and trainers. I've come here for some more insight from your resident gurus.
My goal this summer is to gain lean mass, and eliminate the rest of my love handles and slight belly. I'm guessing another 5-10 lbs of fat to go....I'm getting closer. In the fall I'll work on bulking.
Here's the diet:
9:00 30g Whey protein, 1 tsp flax seed oil, 16 oz water (on cardio days I skip this meal and go for my run.
10:30-11:30 workout.
11:30 40g Whey protein, 16 oz. water, apple.
1:00 Chicken breast or can of Tuna, small portion (4 oz) of brown rice, 4 oz. green fibrous veggie (broc, asparagus, green beans)
3:00 30g Whey protein, 1 Tsp flax seed oil, 16 oz water
5:30 6-10 oz. Fish Filet or Chicken, 6 oz. brown rice or sweet potato, fibrous veggie (broc, asparagus, green beans)
8:30 30g Whey protein, 1 TSP flax seed oil, 16 oz. water.
Pre-Bedtime, 30g Mixed Casein blend, either pro-peptide or Micellean, 1 TSP flax seed oil, 16 oz. water.
Opinions? What can I do to tweak it to trick my body into continuing to burn fat?
Thanks for any insight ahead of time!
