need an opinion on "what i should do"- regards computers

so, i've been searching and searching for a CHEAP computer... and found a dude thats kinda shady on craigs list... i bought a AMD Athlon xp 2500 tower from him... 200 bucks and he loaded up xp pro, all sorts of bootlegged programs like nero, acrobat, ccleaner, etc...

so i get home and pop in my own cd rw drive and logged on to the net... he emailed me saying he left a 512MB chip in the computer when i paid for a 256MB chip...

do i: give the dude 30 bucks, ignore his emails, or return the chip???

30 bucks? It's worth it. You got a working box, why dick it up now?
