need a DVD decoder

running winXP and winmedia player 9.

i need a free DVD decoder so i can play my Beavis and Butthead DVDs at the computer. been searching for one but can't seem to find any that look like they'd work. winmedia player doesn't help either....it sends me to a page that has links for decoders you have to pay for, but they're microshaft approved

the DVDs are prolly copy protected and that's why it's giving me issues.

any one?

I don't understand....a "decoder"?
If you wanna rip them to avi's, that's one thing, but just to play...
I use media player classic to play DVD's.
It's a stand alone exe @ 366kb.
