Mine was 299 at www.outpost.com -- it is a Kodak DX3600 -- you can take video with it as well, and it has a microphone to capture sound... It really has alot of nice features for the price... really a good bang for the buck.l

If you want a really cheap one, get one of the Intel webcam/digicams.

They quality is not so great, but it does both for about $100.

thanks, im into week three of my sixteen week cutting diet if i save 25-30 dollars a week then the cam would be here by week 10-12 just in time for b4 and after pics
