Need a bit of technical help with my tab key please!

I would really appreciate some quick help with this. ....

I like to use the tab key to go to the next cell or in word documents. For some reason when I hit it now it is jumping between applications. How do I undo that feature? It's driving me nuts. I've been spending way too much time trying to figure it out.

WELL I HAVE THIS OLD SHITTY KEYBOARD AND MY SHIFT KEYS GET STUCK A BUNCH SO I KINDA NEW ABOUT THE PROBLEM
