now i'm gonna be wondering how the fuck they did that....

1 highlight a white image of the size you want
2 printscreen and read that image into something like Matlab, then convert it to greyscale and maximize the contrast
3 subtract that highlighted image from the image in question
4 invert the highlighted image and subtract it from another very dark and smooth image with very little contrast and color
5 add the result from 3 and 4 together and viola...

(all the images used should be the same size)

I think that is how they do it.
