I was wondering if someone could help me with this question i have? Which is does the ncaa test redshirt athletes? or has anyone known someone that was tested on a redshirt year? and if it matters I particulary concerned with the Div. 1 level

Please any help would be appreciated

ok i am in the same deal as the dude, playing D 1 ball this fall and if someone who tests [positive what happends? second drug test? or wtf

i ran d 1 track and if you test possiive your screwed buddy. you are ineligable for one year and are drug tested frequently during that time. and your coach does not have to give you any money during that time. actually i don't know that you could even accept scholorship if you got caught and declared ineligable most that get cought never play again. be carful and stick to prop, suspension. Winny and anavar are still dangerous because they can be absorbed into fat and released months after you take them, causing a possitive test. but i have used them, but was never tested while or after being on them.

dont take this to the bank but i play D1 football in the big east and i use to be a redshirt and was never tested the whole time while red shirting.......and i think you need to be caught 3 times to be kicked off the team for good......i think the first time you miss a few games or until you clean up......they really dont care about red shirts as much as the other players...but our football program is big....

imrcksolid

everyone thanks for the help. This is kind of a let down for me because i planed on doing a couple of cycles during that time. All of which would of contained a short acting test ester (Ex: Prop and suspension) And some thing elso like winny, dbol, anavar(if i could afford it while being away at school) or anadrol.

you can still run two or three cycles during your red shirt year. wait till they come to test in the Fall and start the day after they come. then run a small 6 week cycle over christmass break and then wait till they come in spring, then start right after, and finally do one right before you come back in august next year.

It's too bad that the search function doesn't work for non-plat. members, cause there have been several real good threads on this topic.
Basically, you can be tested up to 8 times a year by the NCAA or your institution. My son was tested the day after he checked into the dorm in his redshirt year. We got the notice as we were moving him in. He has been tested several times since, even in the off-season, so you never know. You risk a lot. Loss of eligibility for the current season as well as the season to follow is a high price to pay. Be careful.
