Nba Basketball Question

dude

if it were all black guys you would never hear things like pass, assist, 3 pointer. it would only be dunk, ball hog, and 15 foot turn around jumper.

I've actually been watching the NBA playoffs quite earnestly this year..never really watched much NBA before, just kinda got bored with baseball and football after 25 years or so of watching that...and it seems to me that there is a higher percentage of white players in the league(starting and playing off the bench significantly)than in years past..I'll bet that the percentage of blacks in the NFL ~70% is greatre than in the NBA..I suppose its becuase BB is more of a universal sport and therefore the NBA can draw players form countries as widespread and diverse as China and the Czech Republic..though the Mavericks look like they came from the Louisiana swamps

Yeah, most of the new white guys aren't american, but white nonetheless. I can't wait til an American Indian joins the league. He'll have game.

Shawn Bradley can't walk and chew gum at the same time.

The white guys tend to be Europeans. However, Mark Madsen is my favorite player in the league. (I'm serious too) That guy gets every loose ball or kills whoever gets in his way. It takes a special kind of talent to foul out after playing 3 minutes.

mark madsen is a funny character... the guy was a scorer in college (stanford), they had a hell of a team when he was there and he could handle the ball and shoot threes and now he just runs into people and fouls people... its great

Some idiotic statements on here. Just because a higher percentage of blacks are better athletes does not mean that there are not excellent white athletes as well. Basketball is a skill game. You don't have the jump the highest, run the fastest to be good at it. If that were the case, just go out and get Olympic sprinters and high jumpers and see how well they can play with professional players.

you guys forget that the US olympic team lost twice last time they played internationally. Once to a european team and once to a south american as i recall. Maybe the US didn't have their A game both times; but the international players have skills you gotta admit it.

Ohhh man! That's hilarious!!! heheheheh

I'm almost embarrassed to watch Bradley out there sometimes. Most of the brothers eat him alive. I can only imagine what Shaq would do to him.

I thought they were there to do comprehensible interviews..

have you ever seen an interview with a hockey player?

interviewer: so what was the key to your win tonight?
typical hockey player answer: well, you know, umm, we, umm got the bounces and, well, umm played really well, umm, good penalty killing and you know, umm, we put the puck in the net more times than the ummm other team. so, umm, that's about it. just gotta stay focused for the next game and take it one at a time you know.
