Natty PB comes from Lugumes not nuts, The Ratio per serv is usually 9gr Mono's to 4gr Poly's to 2gr Sat, not bad, but not as much linoleic as walnuts and Almonds, I prefer Walnuts/Flax Oil and Salmon for my EFA's.
Pouring all the oil off is a bit silly I admit but when your like HAZ and Myself and will polish off a jar in 5-10 Minutes.....you have to cut the cals anyway you can or just not buy it, I have recently chosen the latter.
I was buying No Sodium or Sugar added NATTY KETTLE Butter PB, it came in 11oz Jars so the caloric Bombs werent too bad. KB is HAND made and by Far the BEST natty PB out there, Laura Scudders tastes like ASS, they use ass peanuts.
Arrowhead Mills no Salt
and
Kettle Butter no salt
are the very best out there on the Market aside from those Grinders they have at places like Wild Oats and Such that have there own Grinder. But if they aint Valencia peanuts....its probably gonna suck IMO.
Beware of the SugarFree Smuckers Spread, I would put a Tbls or two of that in a Coffee cup, with like 3 Tbls of Natty PB and I would try to slowly enjoy it like that with a spoon, before I knew it... I was scooping the Jam into the Jar of PB and going nuts!!lol
