Natural Or Not?

Ok I got this friend, who works at a gym, is a trainer there also... He's always been a good time friend ( Christ I wish I seen him lately ), but according to my other friend, he's over 200, and benches well over 300... he talked to the guy about juicing and he said That he doesnt, he's gonna wait a few years... What does it take to get that intense? Is it just a ligament factor? Genes? What?

Well, personally.. I was natural up till this year. I weighed 215 and could bench 405 twice, and never took a thing. Worked out like an animal, took supps, and ate right. I think I also have the "big" genes but losing the bodyfat is a serious battle for me. Competed natural at 5%, and I'll never put myself through that mental anguish again. Now I'm experimenting... and enjoying it.

I benched 410 years before I ever took a steroid, and I'm not genetically gifted, believe me.

There's really nothing special about a 200lber benching over 300.

I see posts like this all the time, and I just don't understand them. There are people on this board that actually think you can't put on a pound of muscle without steroids. It's fucking sad.

It's called time in the gym and proper training.

Hell, I was 190 lbs benching 335 when I was 22, the only supplements I had then was Smilax and Creatine was just coming on the market. Believe it or not people can actually put muscle and gain strength without steroids.

Thats just it, he works at a gym, as a matter of fact.. he's a trainer there, damn him... I need to live at a gym... Or atleast apply at one.

man that is one of the things that pisses me off the most is people judging if someone is natural, like AS is the only thing that gave them their size.

man i was 20 years old...at 5'7 over 200 pounds and benched well over 300...and i was all natural.

it doent matter if he works at a gym or not....i see many lazy ass people working at the gym.

I'm natural, and right now at 170 lbs about 7-8% bf I'm benching 365 for 2 reps and comfortable enough to do that with out a spotter. Your friend is no freak of nature. Benching heavy can be accomplished more by form / strategy and training than 22" arms or anything like that.

They are correct, you can make awesome gains with the right diet and supplements. I live in the gym, when i go on very few ask me about it because im in there so much. I get the occasional "what are you on" from the 150 pounder with a wife beater on even though he has been in the gym for 3 days out the year. I guess he wasnt there the four years when i was busting my ass. He has the nerve to ask me what im on.......
