As far as that pic, he looks like he is in great shape. These drivers fly home after the race then fly back to the track on thurs or fri morning. aside from appearances, they have a lot of down time to work out if they choose to. I doubt Carl's juicing. He's built well though, no doubt. The cover is some lights and angles too. Maybe some airbrushing. Mostly genetics. He's always been athletic.
He's the guy who always does a backflip off his car after he wins a race. So he's always been an athletic guy. Gymnastics, weights, etc. They interviewed him this weekend and they brought up how he's always going on jogs at the track when they have downtime.
Not really any need for juice in NASCAR for en edge. The most dominate drivers are far from being accused of juicing. Jeff Gordon, Dale Jr., Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson are all small and skinny guys. Tony Stewart could however use a treadmill for sure.
NASCAR's been waiting for a guy to come along who actually looks decent with his shirt off. It's good marketing for Carl and NASCAR.

i couldnt find the exact article but i remember reading before that these guys lose a considerable amount of weight during each race thru heat/sweat. this article mentions that the most weight rusty wallace lost in a race was 11 pounds. the cockpits get to be over 100 degrees with the floorboards closer to 170 degrees. now deal with that shit for 500 miles while keeping your concentration and reflexes on point.

I agree, but as we all know there are PLENTY of people that juice who look worse than he does and obviously there are PLENTY of people who look better. Today, who knows, because size doesnt always dictate whos juicing. NFL kickers,punters, MLB pitchers, golfers, etc...everybody just for an edge. Not to be Ronnie.drrman said:
