What happens if you use a name on the package of someone who doesn't live at the residence that the package is delivered to?

What happens if there is no "bad stuff", and what happens if the package contents are legal?

Why would you do this? Why not use your own name if the contents are perfectly legal?

I think it all depends on how it was sent...public (USPS) or private...and whether or not a sig was required on delivery...but if everything's legit, why even worry about it.

By using a fake name to a residence you DO risk that the postal carrier will not deliver it as he/she may think it doesnt belong there...

That's probably unlikely but you just never know
