About 3-4 years ago i pulled some tendons in my left rear delt water skiiing. Shoulder presses are near impossible and my left shoulder is lagging a lot! Anyone have any input as far as strenghtening my shoulder?

See an OSTEOPATH (pref. a Doctor of osteopathy) or/and a ART (active release techniques) practitioner. At $50-200 per hour they are not exactly cheap, but I was healed in 4 sessions by the ART guy and (several years later) in 2 session by the osteo doc - my injuries were also serious.

ART is that when they massage you really hard to loosen up scar tissue etc. and promote bloodflow to the area?
And what exactly does an osteopath do????
I too have a slight shoulder injury that seems to hang around

You are right about the ART - it's quite painful, but I used to look forward to it because I would come out feeling 30% better after every 1/2 hour treatment.

The osteopath is basically a joint doctor, but they deal with the things that affect a joints health such as musce tone and tendon scarring.

They use a different type of massage but are both (in my opinion) the most effective forms of treatment for semi-serious injury. I would always try them before investigating surgery.
