im in favor of fat acceptance, but its not plausible as far as i can tell. Fat people don't deserve the trauma and humiliation they have to endure and put up with but realistically i dont think you can make people as a whole accept fat acceptance on the scale they seem to want. I am assuming being morbidly fat is completely unnatural in nature, and just asking society to reject millions of years of evolution.
Ive seen several shows and read articles about the nature of beauty and they said that the most beautiful women are actually the most plain. the more common their features, the more attractive they are. Diversity is considered ugly to the unconscious brain. And morbid obesity is very unnatural as up until 50 or so years ago in the developed world there wasn't much opportunity to become morbidly obese as food was low fat, scarce and people did alot of exercise.
What im trying to say is beauty is synonymous with conformity from the scientific studies ive read, and morbid obesity is almost impossible under natural (ie, living like apes) circumstances. So asking people to bypass that will be very hard.
